Mike has always had a love for homes and been interested in real estate as an investment strategy. While shopping for his own home he caught the mortgage lending bug. He found the process of locating a property and securing a home mortgage fascinating and fun. It was then that the thought occurred to him that helping people find the easy way to a home of their own would be a rewarding career. He’s never looked back.
With a decade of experience, Mike is licensed in both Oregon and Washington as a loan originator. With a network of lenders, Mike can offer his clients outside-the-box thinking and loan products that they can’t find with many traditional financial institutions. A native of North Dakota, Mike came to the Pacific Northwest in his 20s, where he received a degree in Business Economics from Willamette University. When he’s not showing people the easy way home, Mike participates in sports (wheelchair basketball, tennis, skiing, biking and rafting) and is a world traveler. He’s fluent in Spanish and loves exploring new languages and cultures. Mike also comes from a large family (7 brothers and sisters and 10 nieces and nephews) and looks forward to having one of his own.
